What We Are All About
SML Designs is an answered prayer from God. Shaun and Martha were redecorating their home when they stumbled across this new interest in building furniture. "God gives us certain skills and talents to help us on our journey called life. We may have the need for additional income, or the need for a new idea. He doesn't just drop a check out of the heavens and say, 'here you go, have at it!'. He shows us that He's already equipped us with everything we need to take care of our families and the people around us.
Our Story
For Shaun, he was created with an impeccable attention to detail coupled with a love for numbers that make calculations and measurements an easy task for him. Martha, being the businesswoman, was gifted with strong communication skills, perfect for networking, and a keen instinct for running a successful small business. Everything they do is done with a Spirit of Excellence and is Built to Glorify God. After all, He’s their source and maker. From this understanding and revelation, they established SML Designs… For His Glory where they are able to provide hand crafted furniture and home decor.

We have two amazing little boys, the Lumpkin Lads.
They will carry on the Legacy of strong, Christian men, that understand we are building more than just furniture.
We are building up people, families, community, ... The Kingdom.
